Tiwa Savage's Divisive 'Wanted' Video
Tiwa Savage stars in the divisive music video for her song 'Wanted' (sampling "Jamrock"), directed by Mr. Moe Musa.
Last year Tiwa Savage's highlife-tinged love song "Eminado" squeaked in as the darling of our Top Nigerian Songs of 2013. Her latest video, for the "Jamrock"-sampling "Wanted," is a hyper-sexualized departure from the Valentine's Day charmer. Mr. Moe Musa was tapped to direct a leotard-donning Savage (nothing we haven't seen before from Rihanna and Beyoncé) in a video that rivals Sauti Sol for "steamiest" of the year. Reaction to the video, which debuted earlier this week, has been divisive. Savage herself took to instagram to comment on the backlash. "Just landed back in naija and there is all this commotion.... Wetin happen o, what did I do again," said the Mavin First Lady. Watch on below.
