CopperWire is a collective comprised of Gabriel Teodros,Meklit Hadero and Ellias Fullmore (aka Burntface). The trio combine for an outer-space meets Ethio-diaspora exploration in the clip for "Phone Home" — which features footage of "the first hip-hop shows in Gondar and Harar (Ethiopia)" and NASA recordings of the cosmos. The music video also boasts appearances by Ethio-Jazz godfather Mulatu Astatke. Watch it above and grab CopperWire's Earthbound LP, out tomorrow on Porto Franco Records.
