Video: Reason 'Stay'

Since hooking up with Tumi Molekane’s Motif Records in 2011, 20-something Jo’burg emcee Reason’s star has burned brightly. He kicked off an impressive year with the free six-track mixtape Audio 3D Prequel — a delicious appetite-wetter for his LP Audio 3D, released last month. That was followed by a notable cameo appearance at this year’s Cape Town International Jazz Festival and a sublime soundtrack recorded for Sara Blecher’s award-winning film Otelo Burning. In short, it’s been a good year for the young emcee. "Stay," the lead-single off Audio 3D, catalogues the bitterness of a break-up. Best line: “you’re the prettiest nutcase.” Watch the video above.
