Listen to Shekhinah and Wandile Mbambeni’s New Collaboration ‘Wanted and Loved’

Shekhinah and Wandile Mbambeni connect on 'Wanted and Loved.'

Rising South African soul singer Wandile Mbambeni's new single "Wanted and Loved" features Shekhinah. The song is about wanting to be desired and loved.

The chorus goes:

"I wanna know if I'm wanted and loved / I wanna know if I'm somebody's one/ I wanna know if I'm somebody's dream/ If I'm somebody's need"

"Wanted and Loved" blends soul and R&B, and merges two unique artists' traits. The acoustic guitar co-exists with buzzing synthesizers to create an atmosphere that's accommodative of the two singers.

Wandile Mbambeni is slowly becoming a recognizable name in the country's mainstream music scene. Last year, he released his debut album Kwakumnandi, which was supported by a few singles. Earlier this year, he opened for Tamia in her South African tour. He can only grow bigger this year. Definitely one to keep an eye on.
