Watch: Davido - Risky (Official Video) ft. Popcaan

The track comes accompanied by a new London-shot music video directed by Meji Alabi, featuring the two stars.

The video appears to be a nod to the popular Netflix series "Top Boy," as it takes place in a similar East London housing estate setting, where an undercover informant is watching their every move.

The video opens with a tense diner scene where Popcaan and Davido go to exchange some words (much like a popular scene in Top Boy season 3 between main characters Jamie and Dushane). But while the characters in Top Boy battle over drug territory, it seems Popcaan and Davido are in a tiff over a girl, who turns out to be an informant.

A Good Time is set to include other singles like "Fall," "Assurance," and "Blow My Mind." The new album is scheduled to drop November 22 via Davido Worldwide Entertainment/Sony UK/RCA.

In an interview with OkayAfrica's Rufaro Samanga in Johannesburg in February, Davido talked about how Risky went from viral freestyle to hit song.

OkayAfrica: Going back to your album and the single "Risky" with Popcaan, the track was very different to your signature sound. Was that intentional?

Funny enough, with "Risky," I blame the label too because it took me somewhere else. I just got there and they're like, "Yo alright let's go, Davido, boom!" I don't rap, I'm not a rapper. It was a joke to me and I was just having fun. Then, the way they chopped it up made it seem crazy. It came out and the internet went crazy. "Yo Davido can't freestyle" and all that. I don't even care because I'm a troll myself. Before I was myself, I used to troll artists, so I don't care about that. I was just sitting in the studio with my producer and it was like let's turn this shit into a song. Just sat down and we did that shit... Boom! Brought the beat and it was like three different versions of "Risky."
