Audio: Sinkane 'Mars' LP [Album Stream]

Sinkane's debut full-length Mars combines influences from bandleader Ahmed Gallab's vast indie résumé (he's previously played with Yeasayer, Caribou, and Of Montreal) and music from his Sudanese birthplace. While we've previously featured singles "Jeeper Creeper" and "Runnin'" — which we premiered — you can now stream the entire release over at NPR.

Mars features contributions from "Twin Shadow's George Lewis Jr., Ira Wolf Tuton of Yeasayer, members of the Afrobeat band Nomo, flautist stutzmcgee and singer Roberto Carlos Lange." Stream the album below, pre-order it from iTunes and look for the official release Oct 23 on James Murphy's DFA Records.
