Idris Elba's New Netflix Comedy 'Turn Up Charlie' Will Premiere in March
The actor will play a struggling DJ and nanny in this new series.
We'll soon be seeing Idris Elba in his DJ-nanny glory soon on Netflix, Variety reports.
Back in April the streaming service announced that the actor will star in Turn Up Charlie, another comedy that reflects more of what he's experienced in life pre-stardom. The series is set to premiere on March 15, where Elba also snags co-creator and co-producer credits.
In eight episodes, we'll see Elba play a struggling DJ and bachelor, who in a final opportunity at success, reluctantly tacks on a nanny hustle for his famous best friend's daughter.
