Feel Up Records, the Brooklyn label founded by Major Lazer's Jillionaire, showcases a batch of contemporary Nigerian pop with Feel Up Radio Vol. 11: IM SO NAIJA mixed by DJ/producer/songwriting duo Beat Cocaine. Featuring some of Nigeria's biggest stars — Wizkid, P Square, Burna Boy, Ice Prince, and Davido amongst them — the 63-minute-long mix takes the listener on a fast ride of drum hits, shooting electronics, and passionate vocals. Including the Wizkid-Femi Kuti collaboration track "Jaiye Jaiye" and some lyrics from Fela Kuti's "Lady," the compilation nods to afrobeat while blasting the loud thrills of pop and dancehall production. Beat Cocaine, which is made up of Mainz-hailing Maik We and NEO Nosa, is rooted in the concept that "Music makes you high," and with Feel Up Radio Vol. 11: IM SO NAIJA the duo offers Naija pop ecstasy.
