Tiwa Savage has officially released her highly-anticipated album 'Celia' which features Davido, Sam Smith,Stefflon Don, Naira Marley and others.

Tiwa Savage has finally released her fifth studio album titled Celia and it is an undeniably solid project filled with a number of bangers. The album boasts 12 tracks that fuse both Afropop and R&B—the Nigerian superstar's signature sound. Tiwa Savage is coming for it all this year with epic collaborations with international artists Sam Smith, Davido, Stefflon Don and Naira Marley.

Tiwa Savage released the track list for Celia only just a week ago. The then upcoming project was met with resounding positive responses across the board. Celia is reportedly named after Savage's mother and is a nostalgic take on the music Savage grew up listening to. In a recent interview, she explained how growing up with R&B and the legendary Fela Kuti's Afrobeat songs formed her identity as a woman and awakened her to the political inequalities in Nigeria.

Speaking more about her latest project in another interview with PulseNG, Tiwa Savage says:

"I'm so grateful, not just for that record, but what this means for my genre and the movement that we're pushing. I was having this conversation with my mom the other day, and I said to her, when she moved me to London, I was bullied so much for being African. I used to try and change my accent, and pretend like I wasn't African. And it wasn't cool... And so many people have the wrong impression of Africa. And now having huge legends like Beyonce doing a movement such as Black is King, and shining just a different light on my continent, it's just amazing."

Celia is sure to dominate music charts following the artist's recent performance of lead single "Dangerous Love" on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Much like many of her stunning music videos, the performance was vivid and served luxe aesthetics. Soon after, Savage then released "Temptation" featuring Sam Smith which Rolling Stone described as seductive and sultry.

"Dangerous Love" is already a hit on the South African music scene and has been reworked by house music giant DJ Ganyani and De Mogul into two amapiano remixes. In "Koroba", Tiwa Savage critiques the socio-political state of life in Nigeria and the stunning visuals tell a lyrical story of slut shaming, female autonomy and government corruption.
