French production duo Synapson connect with Angolan vocalist Pongofor the immediately ear-catching "Lengueno," a track that blends Pongo's kuduro-influenced vocal delivery with a head-nodding beat. "We find it interesting to mix our productions with voices from around the world. The idea is to discover new sounds and produce world fusion music. Get out of the British and American habit," explain Synapson.

Highly-buzzing Ghanaian rapperKwesi Arthurcomes through with the hard-hitting "Live From the 233" from his newly released EP This Is Not The Tape, Sorry For The Wait 2. TOBi, Juls 'Dollas and Cents'

TOBi comes through with the new cross-Atlantic visuals for his latest single "Dollas and Cents," which sees him linking up with producer Juls. The new music video sees the rising Nigerian-Canadian artist looking towards his birthplace of Lagos for a story that speaks to our current times. Directed by C.S., the new clip toggles between Lagos and Toronto scenes as TOBi and dancer Tiwa Pearl(who was recently in Black is King) playfully connect through a FaceTime call.

Manu WorldStarhas released his debut album Molimo on the heels of his lead single "Choko," which dropped towards the end of June. Manu WorldStar comes back with more fire in this 12 track ensemble featuringAnatii, Gemini Major, Aubrey Qwana, Focalistic,Rouge, Rowlene and $pacely. The "Nalingi" hitmaker shared the news of the new project on social media.

Thaba "Warrior"

Thaba was born out of a collaboration between South African singer Khusi Seremane and producer Gabriel Cyr. The duo's debut record, Eyes Rest Their Feet, is due in November from Soundway Records. A press statement mentions that their style is influenced by South Africa's Mbaqanga and Bubblegum, as well as Roxy Music, Grace Jones, Sade, and Talk Talk. You can hear those influences wrapped up in the soulful, and slightly sorrowful, "Warrior" above.
