Burna Boy Returned a Fan His Ticket Money Because He Wasn't Live Enough

"My brother, please, your face is not encouraging me."

Some fans at Burna Boy's recent concert in Atlanta, Georgia got more than they asked for.

After running through some of his African Giant hits, like "Anybody," "Dangote," "Pull Up," and "Killin Dem," the Nigerian star paused the show to address two people in the crowd who weren't being energetic enough.

Burna proceeded to pull some money out of his pocket and hand it to one of the fans, all while saying, "Oya go home… This guy is annoying me.... This guy too. Why are you here?"

“Security, carry this guy come off of my front [section]. He can go to the back, though. You can't stay in the front. The front is strictly for my... die-hard Burna Boy fans.... Everyone that understands what the f--k I do this for. Everyone that see my sorrow, my sweat, my blood, my tears, that I put into this music and every performance."

“I do this sh-t for you, from the bottom of my heart. I've not come here to play. So, if you want to come and do a fashion show. You want to stand and look at me, go to the f--king church, you understand? So, my brother please, your face is not encouraging me."

Some commenters, however, have been noting that Burna was four hours late to perform.
